I do many things. Transformation is perhaps my greatest art.

ARTIST VISION STATEMENT

“The self is not something one finds. It is something one creates,” Thomas Szasz.

I believe we are all born innately powerful beings with possibilities to discover ourselves time and time again. I trust our collective whole is a tool for ongoing shifts toward what we envision our collective being to be and will become, and a forward momentum on our journey to heal.

Being a nonbinary trans, queer, and neurodiverse human instigates my art process. This guides me to devise my own path of metamorphosis, drive for unity, and a discovery that I am called towards, as adrienne maree brown describes, “holding change.” I often make a goal of inspiring people to connect with one another and the world around them in my art process and resulting works.

As a mixed media Community Artist, my work is synergetic and encourages people moving into collaborative power. It motivates ground up, sustainable pathways forward from the catalysts of community needs and injustice. Inherently, my work illuminates dynamic issues as a vehicle to centralize and highlight multidimensional solutions. This process is a confluence of my lived experience, ethics, equity, and values, and that of those in the community.

The outcome of my art celebrates each step in the direction of possibility and change. It builds relationships and emboldens communities to lead with love, through justice, and forward thinking: into a viable world where we all thrive.
